December 9 is International Anti-Corruption Day

Updated: Nov 13, 2021

This year’s campaign for International Anti-Corruption Day highlights key dimensions of the fight against corruption: • Week of 1 November: Education and youth • Week of 8 November: Sports and corruption • Week of 15 November: Gender dimensions of corruption • Week of 22 November: Private sector • Week of 29 November: COVID-19 and corruption • Week of 6 December: International cooperation

Each week, for six weeks, we will focus on one of these key topics which, alongside the cross-cutting item of 'technology', will also share good practices and examples of preventing and countering corruption worldwide through strengthening international cooperation against corruption; tackling linkages with other forms of crime; enabling the recovery and return of stolen assets; developing innovative solutions; advancing prevention through education; leveraging youth engagement; and mobilizing allies in civil society, academia, and the private sector.
